There are many versions of the original Tao Te Ching, and the one I have relied upon is the one by the late Dr Wayne W. Dyer, from his book, Living the Wisdom of the Tao. He relied upon some versions more than others, and made special mention of the version provided by Jonathan Star (in Tao Te Ching: the Definitive Edition). For the purposes of teaching The 81 Verses of the Tao Te Ching, I will be using the verses as per the late Dr Dyer’s version, and I will provide my own interpretation of same.
I found parallels between the Tao Te Ching and A Course in Miracles. Their lessons teach ancient wisdom that is timeless in application. It is as relevant as it was then as they are today.
It is one thing to gain intellectual knowledge on a subject, any person can do that, but it is entirely different when you learn to apply the principles you learn to your every day living. There are many different ways you can learn the Great Way, so find the one/s that resonate with you. Let Love lead the way.
The 81 Verses will be available soon – watch this space.
