Therapeutic Coaching

For many years, I wanted someone that would be able to help me get my life in order. It was not because I wanted to abdicate my responsibility and accountability for my own life, but it was because I needed a sounding board that would be able to help me demystify the untruths that I had so readily accepted as my own. I tried psychologists, a Jungian Psychiatrist, a life coach, and some other forms of therapy here and there, but none of it lasted. None of it got to the core of whatever problems I thought I had. Then I found something that was going to be the Golden Light that would illuminate everything that I ever wanted to know, and it would become my path to Love, Forgiveness, Healing and Joy.

Jennifer L. Breakey : Therapeutic Coach

After decades of being a Senior Corporate Executive, a Director and an HR Executive, I found myself in a quandary. I was not getting younger, I had reached my Corporate ceiling, and I no longer felt I was contributing in the way that I knew I could be.

So I opted out of Corporate mid-2016, and for about a year I attempted to have my own HR Consultancy. That unfortunately did not work out, and I still felt I was not 100% where I should be. So I let my life come crashing down all around me. I closed my business, was adamant that I did not want to go back to Corporate, and I then began a couple of years journey to find out exactly what it is I wanted to do. In this time, I published a book – 12 Steps to Loving You, a lot of which was based on (what I now term) my pre-ACIM days. That is the time preceding when I came into contact with a spiritual classic (masterpiece) called A Course in Miracles (ACIM). I dabbled in it from 2017 until 2021, when I realized that something was stirring within me and that there was so much peace and truth within its pages, that I made a commitment to learn as much as I could about A Course in Miracles. Initially I battled with the terminology used, because although it is not a Christian course, it certainly has Christian language, and this rubbed me up the wrong way. But I continued regardless. You see, I am a certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming Practitioner, and I realized that regardless of what we learn, words have to be used. So, I substituted the word ‘God’ for Love, and this made me feel far more comfortable.

I continue to study A Course in Miracles, and I have yet to find a stream of thought that resonates so powerfully with me. It is a perfect blend of psychology meets spirituality, bringing about the healing and training of the mind. You do not need to be religious or spiritual to benefit from the healing that you can get by applying principles found in this classic.

Therapeutic Coaching is not based on religion nor on spirituality. It is based on the healing of your mind, and some of the principles found in A Course in Miracles, as well as my certification as a Neuro-Linguistic Programming Practitioner, and my own personal experiences, comes through in our Coaching Sessions together.

I have finally found what I have been looking for and I want to spend the remainder of my days teaching people all about Loving Yourself No Matter What. I am here only to be truly helpful and to amplify Love in the world, and I will not compromise on this in any way.

So this is me telling you that if I can find the peace, love and joy that I have always wanted, then so can you. You just need a smidgen of willingness to see things differently, a great sense of humor (you just gotta be able to laugh at yourself), and the knowing that some days will be easier than others, but you need never give up. A Therapeutic Coach will help you find the balance, love and healing that you want in your life.
